In
Science, we are starting our unit “Building With a
Variety of Materials”. Your child will be engaged in different projects
that encourage exploring, testing and building.
In
order to maximize engagement and learning during Science lessons, we are
encouraging your child to bring a variety of items in a bag labelled with their
name.
All items must be
clean.
Please do not send
items before March 4.
Here’s
a list of items your child might choose to bring:
- Newspapers
- Coffee cups/lids/styrofoam containers
- Popsicle sticks/wooden skewers/tongue compressors/chopsticks
- Cardboard (empty tissue boxes/paper towel rolls)
- Plastic stir sticks/straws
- Recycled plastic materials
- String
- Paper clips
- Elastic Bands
- Pipe cleaners
- Wool/buttons/ribbons/accessories for decorating
