Dear
Parents,
Our Grade 3 Social Studies Program gives us an
invitation to get a taste of different foods around the world. We would
like to celebrate the different types of food by having a very authentic
culinary experience.
Of course, we will need helping hands in order to
make it a success. Therefore, we encourage each family to make a dish
from their tradition (background) or from one of the countries we have studied
this year: Peru, India, Tunisia, Ukraine, and Canada.
If you are interested in making a dish, bringing
plates etc., or helping set up/clean up, please send an email to Mme Bainbridge
and your name will be added to the sign-up list for both classes on Mme
Bainbridge’s blog. Please check this blog for ideas on how you can help!
When: Monday, June 19 at 11:00
Where: Gymnasium
Who: Parents and children of Grade 3
What: Learning Celebration
ALLERGIES: Peanuts, tree nuts,
cashew nuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, pistachios, coconut, chocolate, milk.
Due to
allergies and dietary restrictions, please include the list of ingredients with
your dish.
I will be updating the list on my blog for this
celebration. Parents from both grade 3 classes who would like to sign up may
contact me with their contribution at
Once
your email has been received, confirmation of your contribution will be posted
on the blog. Your name as well as classroom (3B or 3M-C) will be on the list.
Sincerely,
Judy Bainbridge
