Remembrance Day Celebration:  Please note that our class and Mme Cowan’s class (3) are leading this liturgy.  This will take place on Thursday November 7 at 1:00.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
Students can bring money to purchase a poppy.

1.  Social Justice School Community Projects: 

As part of our Religion program, students are asked to take on Social Justice projects to demonstrate how we can be more like Christ in helping the less fortunate. This coming month, we will be organizing 2 drives:

Pass it along clothing. Mme Wozny has been asking for donations of clothing for a while now. Look in your closets for any clothes that are no longer needed. Send in clean clothes that are still in good condition to the school. Grade sixers will sort them on October 16th.

1. A food drive for St Luke's Feed the Hungry. This will run from now until October 9th when they pick up the food in the morning. Each grade has their own list of Food items.

Grade 2:  Canned chili, Pancake Syrup, Peanut Butter, Soup Crackers

Grade 3: Cookies, School Snacks, Fruit juices (1liter), Shampoo, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste
